SO, what’s next??

I am done with JDM Mobile. This industry began a fast death about the day I signed my loan to build a truck. I am cutting my losses (and there are gonna be some huge losses) and calling it a sign.
I had a really good run and actually I don’t foresee me being done with the knob twisting. I am just ready to follow what I wanted to do long ago, yet failed because I couldn’t get in the door. Thankfully, I didn’t go that direction then, because what I know now is extremely valuable. That direction was artist management.
I love making music! I have always been creative and always love building music. Songwriting, which now is only a hobby was my first love. I love playing drums, guitar, piano and anything else that makes noise. I came to Nashville with a clear perception that making music with instruments or my brain was a long shot! Thank God I had a little sense.
I stumbled into studio engineering and after some lucky breaks I got some fights under my belt. Like a fighter, the more you win, the more you think you can win! I did start at an early age even recording/mixing touring Christian artists at 13 and buying my first studio recording gear at 16. However, I never had aspirations of becoming a recording engineer/mixer. Plan B sums up my recording career in a nut shell though.
So, I am (along with a partner with amazing credits in this business) headed into the business end. I am focused around social media and the larger pipeline. The old business pipeline has to many gate keepers guarding it.
First stop, find a firm to get my feet wet in.
